THE GREEN BLESSING SMOOTHIE

There is so much to love about this beautiful veggie-loaded smoothie!

Romaine, frozen cauliflower, and zucchini combine with cashew butter and spirulina (optional) to make a tasty and refreshing shake that's loaded with vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, fibre, protein and healthy fats.  It's a gorgeous green blessing for your body and your taste buds!

The milk, frozen vegetables, banana, nut butter, spirulina, and sweetener can all be adjusted to your desired taste and consistency.

For 2 servings, combine until smooth:

  • 1 1/2 cups unsweetened cashew milk (or milk of choice)

  • 2 handfuls diced romaine lettuce

  • 1/2 to 1 cup steamed-then-frozen cauliflower

  • 1/2 to 1 cup steamed-then-frozen zucchini

  • 1/2 to 1 frozen banana (omit for a fruit-free option)

  • 2 Tbsp Further Food Collagen Peptides (non-vegan) or Nuzest Clean Lean Just Natural or Smooth Vanilla protein powder

  • 2 to 4 Tbsp cashew nut butter, adjusted to taste

  • 1/2 to 2 tsp spirulina powder (optional), adjusted to taste

  • Lakanto sugar-free monk fruit sweetener, pure honey (nonvegan), stevia, or maple syrup, adjusted to taste (optional)
