CHICKEN WINGS (Air Fryer or Oven)
/If I want to make my family really happy, I make these wings.
In all seriousness though, fresh out of my air fryer, they're the best wings we've ever had. Bonus is, they are a cinch to prepare and suitable for gluten-free, paleo, and keto diets, too.
They can be enjoyed straight-up with your favourite dipping sauce, or tossed with the Buffalo sauce below.
Directions:
Preheat air fryer to 375ºF.
Pat wings dry and season well with salt & pepper.
Place wings in a single layer (well-spaced, do in batches if needed) in air fryer basket. Spray wings lightly with avocado or olive oil and cook at 375ºF for 12 min.
Using tongs, flip over and air fry for another 12 min.
Turn up the temperature to 400ºF and cook for a final 4 to 5 minutes until nice and crispy.
Toss with Buffalo Sauce (optional) and serve immediately.
Note: These Chicken Wings can also be baked in the oven at 400ºF. Place them on an oven-safe rack on top of a foil-lined baking sheet and cook for 45 to 50 minutes, flipping halfway through.
For the Buffalo Sauce, mix together:
1/2 cup Frank’s RedHot sauce
1/4 cup butter (dairy-free if needed), melted
1 Tbsp Lakanto Golden sugar-free monk fruit sweetener
