BOOSTER BLEND MOCHA SMOOTHIE

Start your day off right with this nutrient-dense chocolate and coffee blend!  It can be enjoyed warm or cold!

Not a coffee drinker?  Even if you omit the espresso shot or you're a decaf lover like me, BOOSTER BLEND is packed with natural energy and mood boosters including maca, reishi, and cacao powders.  Add in some healthy fats, fibre, and protein, and this tasty shake is certain to keep you going all morning!  

Maca has also been used for thousands of years.  Touted as the "Incan superfood", it has been long celebrated for its ability to boost energy, stamina, endurance, libido and sexual function in both men and women!

Reishi mushrooms are sometimes called the "king of mushrooms".  They have energy and immune-boosting effects, as well as anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer properties.  Studies suggest that reishi mushrooms may help balance hormones, improve liver function, and reduce the risk of infection and allergies.

For one serving COLD smoothie, blend until smooth:

  • 1/2 cup canned organic coconut milk (light or full-fat)

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut water or unsweetened dairy-free milk

  • 2 to 3 standard ice cubes

  • 1/2 to 1 frozen banana

  • 1 to 2 shots of espresso (optional)

  • 1 Tbsp Further Food collagen peptides or Nuzest Clean Lean Smooth Vanilla, Rich Chocolate, or Just Natural protein powder

  • 1/2 to 1 Tbsp chia seeds

  • 1 Tbsp Giddy Yo raw cacao powder

  • 1 tsp maca powder (optional)

  • 1/2 tsp FreshCap Mushrooms reishi powder (optional)

  • 1/8 tsp ground cinnamon

  • optional Lakanto sugar-free monk fruit sweetener, pure stevia, or sweetener of choice, adjusted to taste

For one serving WARM latte, blend until smooth:

  • 1/2 cup coconut milk plus 1/2 cup milk of choice, warmed

  • 1/2 to 1 ripe banana (optional)

  • 1 to 2 shots of espresso (optional)
